01

The usual mess

If the day runs on a spreadsheet, a whiteboard and five apps that do not talk to each other, the problem is not discipline. The tools do not fit the work.

  1. 01

The spreadsheet that became the business

It started as a list. Now it is seventeen tabs, three competing copies, and a formula only one person dares to touch.

  2. 02

    The whiteboard that forgets

Fine until someone wipes Thursday. After that, the plan lives in a head, and heads go home.

  3. 03

    Five apps, zero conversation

Quotes here, jobs there, email somewhere else. The same details typed in twice, sometimes three times. You are the integration. That is a rotten job description.

  4. 04

    Jobs falling through the cracks

A follow-up that never went. A reprint nobody logged. A delivery that should have left on Tuesday. Small mistakes, wasted material, expensive weeks.

02

What we build

One system that holds the jobs, the customers and the paperwork together, shaped around how your business already works. These are the usual building blocks.

  • 01

    Dashboards

One screen for what is late, what is next, and what actually made money this week. Built for how you look at the week, not a template idea of a KPI.

  • 02

    CRM

Enquiries, quotes, customers and follow-ups in one place, so “I will get back to them” becomes a date with a name on it.

  • 03

    Production boards

Jobs moving through the shop in the order the work really happens. Visible to the people on the floor, not just the person with the laptop.

  • 04

    Email-connected workflows

The boring handovers run themselves, plugged into the email you already live in. Quote accepted, job raised, customer told. Nobody types it in twice.

03

How it works

Three stages: a paid discovery session, a 2 to 3 month build, then monthly upkeep. No 40-page deck.

  1. 01

    Paid discovery

This is consultancy, not a questionnaire. I sit with the team, map how jobs move through the business, and find where time and money leak. Then I recommend what to build, and what not to build. Discovery is paid, and credited against your build.

  2. 02

    A 2-3 month build

We design and build it with you clicking through working software while there is still time to argue. Scope stays tied to the plan.

  3. 03

    Monthly care plan

Hosting, monitoring, backups and steady improvements. The workshop changes. The software should keep up after launch day, not freeze on it.

You own the code. At handover you get the repository, the keys, and notes a competent developer can follow. If we part ways, the system stays yours.

04

Who it's for

Small UK businesses that make things, fit things or fix things, and have outgrown the spreadsheet.

  • Sign makers

Artwork approvals, materials, install dates and the van schedule, all in one view instead of spread across email threads.

  • Print shops

Quotes, proofs, reprints and deadlines tracked from the first enquiry to collection, so nothing relies on memory.

  • Trades

Jobs, visits, quotes and invoices kept together, so the office and the van are working from the same information.

  • Small manufacturers

Orders, stock and production stages visible to the whole team, with fewer surprises and less waste on the floor.

Not on the list? If the work moves through stages and the tools do not keep up, it is worth a conversation.

05

One person, start to finish.

Right now everyone and his dog is offering websites, apps and 'automations'.

I have actually run production businesses.

I sit with your team first, build only what moves the needle, and stick around afterwards.

You are not buying software. You are buying someone who gets how your business runs.

Consultancy first, code second. You deal with Alex Greig, in Bridgend, from the first conversation to the care plan. No account managers.

The build is a fixed price. There is an ongoing care plan once it is live. You own the code. The work is remote, for businesses anywhere in the UK.

06

Plain figures

Starting points, not a menu of identical packages. Every workshop is a bit odd. That is why you are here.

Builds from £8,000

A focused system for one part of the operation: the board, the quotes, the chase-ups, whatever is currently held together with hope. Discovery is paid and sits outside this figure, so you can see the shape of the work before you commit to a build.

Care plans from £350 a month

Hosting, monitoring, backups and ongoing improvements, so the thing we built does not quietly rot six weeks after go-live.

07

A real job will live here

Coming soon

The first case study is not written yet. No invented client names, no borrowed quotes, no percentages plucked from the air. When a finished build is worth showing, it will be written up properly, with the client’s say-so.

08

What's slowing you down?

Tell me who you are, the business, how to reach you, and the bit of the day that should not be this hard. Every enquiry is read by the person who builds the software, and you will get a straight answer on whether a discovery session makes sense.

  1. 01Send the enquiry. Your email app opens with it ready to go.
  2. 02I read it and reply personally.
  3. 03If it fits, we book a paid discovery session.
